Agostino Petroni is an independent journalist and a Pulitzer Center grantee based in Rome, Italy. His recent work appears in publications such as National Geographic, The Atlantic, BBC, The Guardian, and the Washington Post. For his work on a deadly disease that is killing southern Italian olive groves, he won the 2022 Collier Journalism Award. Agostino has reported in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, and he was invited in 2019 to give a TEDx talk about his work.
