Eloise Gibson is a science and environment writer from New Zealand. She’s written for BBC Future, the New Zealand Herald, the New Zealand Listener, Newsroom.co.nz, and CBC, winning awards for her reporting on fish, climate, agriculture, and a major shake-up of home insurance after the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. Gibson spent 2015 in New York on a Fulbright scholarship, completing an MA in science writing at Columbia University.
