Kylie Mohr is a journalist for High Country News, covering the American West from Montana. Mohr cut her teeth at NPR and CNN as a student at Georgetown University before migrating to Wyoming, where she worked as a newspaper reporter. Mohr freelanced widely after living in among the Teton mountains, writing for National Geographic and regional outlets. In 2021, she completed a reporting fellowship at E&E News and earned a master’s degree in environmental journalism.
