Ryan Truscott is a writer, broadcaster, and wildlife journalist with more than 20 years of experience in southern Africa. His father ignited his passion for birds when he rehabilitated and returned a young black eagle to the wild in eastern Zimbabwe in the 1980s. Truscott also writes the Ecotones newsletter, which features conservation stories from across Africa.
