Trina Moyles is a Yukon-based environmental journalist and the author of several nonfiction books, including Women Who Dig (University of Regina Press, 2018), Lookout (Random House, 2021), and the forthcoming Black Bear (Knopf, 2025). Her writing has been widely published in Canadian Geographic, the Globe and Mail, The Narwhal, and other publications. She has an MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. Moyles lives in Whitehorse with her two huskies.
