Bruce Grierson is a longtime freelance magazine writer who specializes in the social sciences and has contributed to the New York Times Magazine, Scientific American, Popular Science, Pacific Standard, Psychology Today, The Walrus, and many others. The author of three books—most recently What Makes Olga Run? (Henry Holt/Penguin Random House)—he lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife and two daughters.
